Recipe for Easter Rocky Road
21 April 2017
It has only been a couple of days since children (and adults of course) went looking for chocolates and eggs in the most surprising places. It's one of our favourite things to do because - let's be honest - what else is better than gathering an abundance of chocolate? Most of the times we start to stuff ourselves right away - even during the egghunting process. But no matter how hard we try, we never seem to get through the amount of chocolate eggs.
So here's a recipe that turns your chocolate Easter eggs in something more exciting. It's easy and fun to make! So gather all your Easter chocolate leftovers and let's get started.
Step 1 : Put all the chocolate in a heat proof bowl and melt the chocolate over a pan of simmering water (a bain marie). Stir occasionally.
Step 2 : Add some yummy and colourful sweets such as crumbled biscuits, chopped marshmallows and sugar eggs. Give it a good stir and make sure all is mixed well.
Step 3 : Put some baking paper in your baking tray and pour the mixture in.
Step 4 : Put the baking tray in the fridge and let it set for about 2 hours.
Step 5 : Take out the baking tray and chop the chocolate in big or small pieces.
And that's it! You can make changes to the recipe any way you want by adding different toppings or sweets.
And then there's only one more thing to do... and that's to enjoy!
