Back to school!
And who’s looking after the parents?
BARÚ, Bakkerij Vangrootloon and Het Belang van Limburg treat around 700 (grand)parents to a moment for themselves
For parents, the first of September is a race against the clock. After two busy summer months, parents are gearing up for a new school year, and that’s no small task. Time to focus on themselves for a moment. That’s why BARÚ, Bakkerij Vangrootloon and Het Belang van Limburg literally invited (grand)parents to the table for a free breakfast.
The campaign was all about creating a moment of calm and connection at the start of the new school year. After a busy summer filled with day trips, camps, holidays and family time, September marks the return of daily routines for many families. With a breakfast for (grand)parents, the three partners wanted to offer a warm moment in contrast to the usual rush.
“With this campaign, we wanted to encourage people to slow down consciously. A delicious breakfast, a warm BARÚ drink and, above all, time to enjoy each other’s company.”
In addition to a delicious breakfast at Vangrootloon, participants enjoyed a BARÚ Chai Latte or Swirly Hot Chocolate. This adds an extra flavourful touch to the breakfast and gave participants the chance to discover some of BARÚ’s much-loved drinks.
The breakfasts were distributed among 500 winners who registered via Het Belang Van Limburg. Many of them are even brought along a friend, aunt, uncle or someone else close to them, bringing the total to around 700 breakfasts accompanied by a BARÚ drink.
Big thanks to Het Belang Van Limburg and Bakkerij Vangrootloon to collaborate on this campaign. We couldn't be more proud!
