Über uns
Hier bei Barú lieben wir es, uns schillernde Kreationen auszudenken. Gemacht für neugierige Menschen wie uns, wir nennen sie Pralinen mit dem gewissen Extra.
Als Kinder haben Gunther und Maarten gerne Marshmallows geknabbert. Sie verbrauchten bis zu 10 Tüten pro Tag, und an ihren Geburtstagen sogar noch mehr.
Aber als sie sie als erwachsene Kinder wieder probierten, konnten sie nicht glauben, dass dies einmal ihre Lieblingsnascherei war. „Grässlich", sagte der eine, „absolut entzückend” sagte der andere, womit er meinte: „ganz schrecklich”.
„Ich wette mein Gewicht in alten Schuhen darauf, dass wir Marshmallows so aufschäumen könnten, dass die Leute Schlange stehen würden, um sie zu kaufen”, sagte der eine. „Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben eine Wette abgeschlossen”, sagte der andere und meinte damit: „Ich rufe sofort meinen Buchmacher an”.

Wilbur and Maggie are two peas in a pod but they also love raising a ruckus. They're a bit shy and keep to themselves when we have visitors. You wouldn't even notice they're there.

We must have heard "you're mad" a dozen times when we first presented our bars. "Naturally" we said, "but what do you think about the bars?"
